When entering your credit card or check information, the communications between your computer and our payment processor are completely secure using 128-bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. This process scrambles your information as it travels across the Internet so that it can be deciphered only by the intended recipient. This method is the standard in secure communications for the Internet.

Once your payment has been received, your credit card information is held for a period of three months to enable returns to be dealt with as required. While we hold your information we store it securely on a private and secure database server that is protected behind a state of the art firewall on a separate network not attached to the Internet. The actual credit card information is encrypted while stored on this server to assure that even in the extraordinarily unlikely event that security were to be compromised, the credit card or check information would be useless to anyone trying to gain access.
